Dennis has been around a long time, but has been restricted by work and family commitments on occasions. In the run of games that he had in the second half of last season he showed he was certainly a quality batsman, making half-centuries in 2nd Grade and averaging 51 in 1st Grade. He is an attacking left-hand middle order batsman who is now much tighter defensively and able to bat to the situation. His wrist-spin is also quite handy and he has a great set of hands in the slips cordon. Should Dennis have a full season this year big things are expected of him.
