Match report Latrobe travelled to River Park to take on Ulverstone in a match rescheduled as a one-dayer due to rain the previous week, eager to win in Steven Adkins' 100th game. Latrobe won the toss and elected to bowl first, but was soon ruing this choice as the Robins began their innings strongly. Ulverstone added 44 runs before Dion Parsons trapped Sam Perko lbw, aided by some tight bowling from Clint Donohue at the other end. The Demons were further boosted by the dismissal of James Smith by Nathan Avery, and the Robins were 2-75. Another wicket should have followed, but Josh Walmsley was dropped on 1 and the Robins didn't look back. Ulverstone took on Latrobe's change bowlers, taking close to a run a ball as they amassed a score of 5-238 from their 50 overs. The target was only reduced by James Wescombe taking a couple of late wickets as the Robins attempted to lift the run rate. Latrobe would have to bat well to make the required 239 at a rate of 4.78 runs per over.

In reply the Demons started promisingly, with Paul Dickson and Callan Morse adding 35 for the first wicket. However, the Demons soon lost momentum, with Dickson (19), Nathan Avery (0) and James Wescombe (3) being removed in quick succession. Morse and Ryan Keep then added 65 for the 4th wicket, giving the Demons some hope of a victory, but when both fell (Morse 47, Keep 38) in quick succession the match appeared over. Andrew Boon came and went without scoring, but 100th gamer Steven Adkins doggedly saw out the remaining overs and secured additional bonus points with Brad Green (17) and Clint Donohue (14 not out). The Demons finished at 7-175, unable to attack the Robins bowling with any freedom and needing to address some aspects of their play over the Christmas break.
